UPDATE

Hey Everyone, its been awhile since i sent out an email, just a lil bout shelby and the kids, they are doing good up there in Fort drum, NY and winter is coming towards them fast, the mornings there are like n e where from 30's-40's and someitmes it gets into the 70's in the afternoon but winter is coming fast. they all are doing good, titan is walkin around everywhere and says somethings, but learns more n more eachday, kenz is deffinatley a toddler, causin chaos and running up in down the walls but all n all she is great! she enjoys life to its fulliest, and for shelby she is being really strong and a great mother and wife, she takes care of the kids day n and day out, no breaks or n e time alone, she has a really good friend up there that helps out and she enjoys hanging with her and makes shelby have a good time, im so proud of shelby n the kids for hanging in there, well anyways about me im doing alright, i changed deodorant and now i got a horrible rash lol and i cant roll out side the wire for 5 days cuz i cant get all sweaty n stuff, im doing good with everything and being safe, i work out 6 days outta the week and i feel good bout myself, days here are getting more n more dull but we almost threw with our overall mission n Iraq, so im happy, we get more n more intel that insurgents r in the local area but we dont ever see them, cuz last time we seen them they well yea. they scared of us now cuz we are some ASS KICKING AMERICAN SOLDIERS@! anyways i love yall and write me back, i hope all is well and everything is doing good, oh YEA my DENVER BRONCOS ARE 3-0 we lookin good this year!!!!

fall begins

Hi everyone. It is definitely fall here. The leaves are falling and changing colors more and more everyday. It's beautiful and the weather has dropped to an average of 60 degrees a day. I love it! It's a nice change from Las Vegas weather. I have a lot of new pictures for everyone and new videos of the kids. Titan is taking 60+ baby steps at a time now, he is getting better everyday and once I buy him tennis shoes this week we are going to see how he does when we go out. MaKenzie loves that her brother can walk and play with her. When we go to the park they follow each other. Titan follows Kenzie up the jungle gym, and watches her slide down the slides. He is not so sure about the slides yet. Then she runs around and follows him down the stairs. He already knows how to go up and down stairs by himself. I know he is learning things faster from watching MaKenzie. It's amazing how fast he is learning things. MaKenzie is getting very anxious for Daddy to come home. That is all she talks about now. It's hard on myself and Arek sometimes, but we just keep counting down the days! We know he will be home before we know it. Four more months to go! She is very excited because Daddy is taking her to "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" (disneyworld) when he gets home, and she tells him all the time about Mickey Mouse and the Princesses. She can't wait. Arek gave me my birthday present early and it came last week. It is a beautiful sectional. It is perfect for our living room and we love it! Our home is almost complete, we just need daddy home! Arek is still doing day and night missions. He is exhuasted by the end of his day. He works very hard and we are so proud of him for everything he does!

Update on me (AREK)

Hey everyone, its me arek... just another update on me and shelby and the kids, welll first if yall didnt know, it is WIFE APPRECIATION DAY on the 15th of September, i order shelby some flowers 11pink roses and 1 white rose in it. Shelby and the kids are doing well, they are all moved in and unpacked and pretty much just chillen makin new york home, shelby is doing great being a single mother with 2 kids right now, she is outstanding and i look up to her strenght. kenz n titan are growin up so fast, titan is walkin everywhere and learning more n more words daily shelby says, kenz is still a 100% DADDY'S GIRL`! she is just crazy evrytime im on the phone i hear her runin around jumpin screaminn laughin and her new thing is when i hang up shes all like . . . "daddy i love you with allllllllllllll my heart!" in her lil girly voice its so cute. but anyways there all doing good`! as for me over here in Iraq, weather is droppin thank god, its gettin cooler eachday`, we run alot more night mission now and do more two a days, wake up at like 5 roll out come back around 3pm and then roll out again at like 8 pm till crack of dawn`. but we got less then 5 months left imm so excited`! as for the militia and insurgents over here, they are cowards and hide when we roll out, its been quite as for now, but we get more n more intel that its been quite for a reason`, but whatever my platoon is prepared for anything. I only gert limited times of sleep sometimes but i sleep all day when we get r day off, usually friday but it varies. anyways i been doing good, shelby's birthday is October 22 and Titan's is October 20 and MaKenzie's is December 14th just so everyone knows, anyways i will send another updat later on`! love and miss all yall`

september begins

Hi everyone. It is already the second week of September and the leaves are starting to change colors. Fort Drum is beautiful in the fall because of all the trees ! So Titan is walking all over the place and is so close to only walking and not crawling, which will be fun when we go out and I can just hold his and kenzie hands and walk :) . He is not there yet though. He still crawls in between walking. He has yet to master how to turn when he walks . He always loses his balance and plops, but he is doing a GREAT job only being 10 1/2 months old. We are very proud of him. He also now has his seventh tooth. The eighth one is ready to break through any day. MaKenzie is learning new things to say every day and it is so fun having conversations with her. She is a very big helper with mommy and it helps a lot. While Titan naps she watches Mickey Mouse or Pooh Bear and friends and waits for him to wake up , the second she hears him wake up she says "Mommy, Titan is awake!! " and she runs up the stairs grabs a diaper and helps mommy change him and they come play in their play room while I make lunch. They are both well back into their routines and it is great. We go to the park every day and she is making new friends. Hailey and Alexandrea are her best friends, but she says daddy is her favorite. She always puts her daddy first :). She is becoming very anxious for daddy to come home and asks him every day if his plane is their yet. It is hard on us to hear her ask that, but she is not sad about it she just wants to know. She handles it really well. We now have a calendar we mark days off every morning before breakfast with her vitamin and she says " one more day closer to daddy ! " It is priceless. Arek is doing good. He is doing a lot of night training and night missions due to increased action over there. So of course continue to pray for all the troops over there! He is very ready for this deployment to end as well. We are about 4 1/2 months away from him being home and couldn't be more excited ! The house is coming along great. I have all of our family pictures up and the kids rooms are pretty much done, everything is coming together really well. I am getting along great with one of Arek's sgt.'s wife, Stephanie. It is nice to have someone to talk to and hang out with every day. Arek and Doug (steph's husband) are getting along great too . They are working out a lot after missions to make their time go faster as well. We are just ready for him to be HOME with us again ! There is lots of talk about when they're coming home, but it keeps changing and we really won't know until that week I'm sure. We just know around the end of January/early February.
