Kindergarten Meet & Greet ♥

So.. we knew Kenzie should start school this year. At first we had expected to put her in Pre-K since her birthday was way past the cut off date for starting Kinder. Our neighbor had told us that there was an Early Admittance Test that she could take if I felt she was ready for Kinder. I was worried that she would be bored in Pre-k since she knew everything they would have taught her anyways.. so when I heard about the testing I thought it was a great idea! She took her testing a few weeks before school started. She had to go in a room by herself for a thirty minute Test.. Talk about being nervous! I couldn't of been more proud of her though! We got a call back the next week saying she is definitely above pre-k level and was ready for Kinder so she was accepted into Kinder early. She aced the test and had one of the best stories they recieved. I was very proud of her :) We went to the meet and greet the day before school started. MaKenzie absolutely loved meeting her teacher, checking out the classroom and even meeting some of her new classmates. It was such a cherishable moment to watch her run around the classroom and admire her new daily enviroment. Her teacher is Mrs. Hummel.. a very short and tiny younger lady.. who was very sweet and her teacher aid is Mrs. Kenna who is a very nice older lady. MaKenzie adored both of her teachers!! Walking around the school was hard for me.. hard to accept my little girl had hit such a big mile stone but so proud and excited for such an awesome new adventure for her!!

The Singh's visit ♥

So.. I have been anxiously waiting to meet my little nephew Antonio. We left New York just two weeks before he was born.. sadly :( .. not to mention I have been missing my brother and sister from another mother.. Kevin and Marian! So I was beyond excited to find out they would be making a road trip to California and stopping on the way to visit us!!! They got to stay with us for two days. Although it was a short visit we enjoyed every minute of it! They arrived shortly after we did after getting home from Las Vegas. We spent the night catching up and enjoying each others company. Come to find out my nephew is even cuter in person that he was in the pictures.. didn't think that was possible ;) Seriously.. he is a beautiful baby boy! I loved spending time with him! Kevin and Arek had a great time with Arek's new bike, while us girls went shopping. Kera and Zeus were in heaven to see each other again and spent the whole time playing together! MaKenzie and Titan were very excited to see their Aunt and Uncle, their cousin, & Grandma Sheryl! We all four have missed them very much since moving away from them nine months ago! We spent the next day shopping.. hanging out and having good laughs.. as always :) We are no anxiously waiting for them to come visit us again soon since they live in California now.. its much closer!!

Cousins ♥

MaKenzie and Titan are blessed with lots of cousins :) They got to spend some quality time with Aubrey and Conor while we were in town! Kenzie was anxious for Aubrey to come over, then they were insperable after that. They had a good time swimming and playing together. Then watching a movie and having a sleepover. Titan and Conor were inseperable one moment and enemies the next.. but very cute together! Kenzie adores Conor while Titan adored Aubrey! Must be a boy girl thing :) All four of them had a great time together! I was very close to my cousins growing up so I am glad that they are creating the same bonds! ♥

Grandma & Grandpa's house ♥

This is my all time favorite picture of My Grandma, Grandpa and munchkins! Grandma and Grandpa's house was always one of my favorite places to be when I was growing up. Another home away from home! Now MaKenzie and Titan look forward to going over there to visit just as much as I had. It's adorable. They know at Grandma and Grandpa's they get candy, soda and whatever else they want :) Not to mention they love playing there.. specially with Grandma's lizard. MaKenzie and Titan both adore Grandma and Grandpa.. They definitely are the best great grandparents in the world ♥

Playdate with my bests ♥

So I have known Bryaunna and Mallory since sixth grade and Kristen since tenth grade. Three of my best friends in the world. It has become a ritual to have playdates everytime I come into town. Together we have seven of the most adorable kiddos in the world. Jaxon(4) & Brooklyn(2) [Mallory's babies] Alyiah(3) & Taytem(8mo) [Bryaunna's babies] MaKenzie Lynn(3) [Kristen's baby girl] She needs to have a boy now ;) and of course my two little munchkins. All seven of the kiddos enjoy the playdates and get along great the whole time. It is definitely something MaKenzie looks forward to while we are in Vegas. We always do something different. This time we went to my Aunt's for a day by the pool. The kids had a blast swimming, playing on the playground, playing in the hot tub and just running around. I of course love seeing my best friends and catching up. Hate that I have to live so far away from them now! Some day we all plan on living in the same area in a little compound with connecting houses ;).

Cousins & Best friends ♥

The second night we were in town we had Brock and Aly sleep over at Tarron's with us. The kids loved being with each other the whole night. After we woke up we went to visit Grandma, Grandpa and Nana.. then headed to my Aunts for some swimming fun! All four of the kids loved swimming the whole afternoon. They had a blast together.. as always!

MaKenzie and Brock are both becoming great swimmers. They swam all across the pool together. They both took turns jumping off the diving board over and over again. They had a blast together. Titan and Aly weren't so much into swimming.. although they both did agree that the warm hot tub was definitely a better idea than the pool. They played together a little and they were both pretty independent the whole time. It was a great afternoon relaxing by the pool!
