I love playing with the settings on my camera and of course taking pictures of my two beautiful kiddos. So when we went to the Lakeside Terrace it was the perfect opportunity for a little photo shoot :) I love photography and taking pictures any chance I get. I plan on signing up for the next photography class at the college! My little side hobby I absolutely love and would like to get even better at!! Having two of the cutest kids in the world definitely helps make great photos :)
My sister, Porsche had gotten this adorable Pomchi (Pomeranian Chihuahua) from the breeder that she knew. I absolutely fell in love with her the moment I saw her picture. So Porsche said I could have her and would drive her down to me! I was beyond excited. We have our watch dog but I have been dying for a lap dog! So not only did I get to have this adorable little puppy but I would get to spend a few days with both of my sisters!! I was very excited to have them here with me. MaKenzie and Titan were of course excited. MaKenzie wanted them to take her to school and pick her up. She thought that was the coolest thing ever to have her aunts there :) Titan loved playing with them and just having them here. Porsche took the kids to Wal-Mart to pick out new toys which they both loved. MaKenzie got her first pair of roller skates and Titan got a new Thomas Train Set. They were beyond happy. We enjoyed their company and wish they could have stayed longer!
As for Carrera.. she fits into our family perfectly. By the way.. I always get asked where we got her name from. My mom actually named her. She is named after the Porsche Carrera car :) MaKenzie and Titan absolutely adore Carrera. Kera is so gentle and good with her. Simba and Carrera play together so cutely. Arek tried to act like he didnt care for her at first but he loves her. Always snuggles with her too. I spoil her. She is my little snuggle buddy. Everywhere I go she is in my purse with her blankey. Got her a new pink rhinestone collar, pink dog bags, pink everything! She is the perfect lap dog and I adore her! Although since Titan is home all day with her too he now claims that she is his dog and not mine! :)
Titan loves being home during the day when Kenzie is at school, for some one on one time with Mommy and Daddy. Well on this particular day.. Daddy and Titan went out on an adventure. They came back with Titan's new fury friend.. Miguel. They bought a new cage for him and Titan was in heaven. Once MaKenzie got home from school we took her to pick out one for herself too. They both are in love with their new fury friends. They love to put them in their balls and watch them run around the house. I of course have deemed these little critters Arek's responsibility since he thinks that we should host a zoo in our home :)
So.. this day may have been one of my proudest days so far. I couldn't have been more excited for my little girl to start such a big adventure that would consume the next 12+ years of her life. School had some of my favorite memories growing up. I loved going to school and I hope MaKenzie has the same passion for it. On the morning of her first day, we couldn't get to school fast enough.. she was very anxious. The Kindergartners had a get together before going to their classrooms on the first day. We got to spend some time with them in the cafeteria having orange juice and muffins. MaKenzie was so brave.. as the moment got closer for her to leave the cafeteria and head to her classroom with her teacher.. I got teary eyed. MaKenzie stayed bright eyed with nothing but excitement! She bravely gave us hugs, kisses, smiles, and thumbs up!
