As we are almost half way through October, New York is beautiful. All the trees have changed colors and the leaves are all falling beautifuly. It's soo pretty. We went to the park yesterday and played in the leaves and ended up taking a lot of fall pictures!! I will post the link to them at the end of this blog. The kids loved it. We have had a nice week out here! The weather has been at 70 and no wind. Later into this week we are suppose to go back to freezing though!! It was nice while it lasted, and I love the cold weather :)
Update on the munchkins.. MaKenzie is still mommy's little helper! She helps out around the house and with her brother a lot. She is mastering the whole sharing thing and that helps a lot :). There are a couple of cars that are OFF limits to Titan but other than that she does a great job. She is making new friends outside and at the park everyday. She is becoming familiar with them all and looks forward to going outside everyday. We want to play outside as often as possible before the FREEZING weather hits and we will only be allowed to play inside!! She is learning how to identify her letters of the alphabet and the sounds that they make!! Her favorite letter is S says shhh and M says mmmm. It's cute! She is such a smart little girl and learns things so quickly. Titan is babbling a lot more these days and trying to make words out of his babbles. He says woooow all the time now. His favorite words are still LoLa and ball! He is becoming more comfortable with the playground at the park. He is now going all the way up the stairs and down the slide alone then walks around and does it again. Although it takes him a lot longer than MaKenzie, he loves it:)! He is doing great with his walking and could walk alone completely if he would understand to walk by mommy and not the opposite way :) !! He doesn't like walking and holding your hand. He rather walk alone in his own direction. He is still under a year so I'm proud of how good he is doing!! Titan is completely off of his bottle and only has a sippy cup. He is drinking juice/water throughout the day and only has formula before nap time and bed time. He will be switching to milk this week!! He is such a big boy :)
As for Arek and I. He is doing good. He is staying busy of course with lots of missions and guard shifts. He got his Halloween packages that the kids and I sent him this week and took some funny pictures that are also on our photobucket I will post a link to them as well! and I am just planning for Titan's birthday party on Sunday. We are having a small party for him. We are very sad that Daddy can't be here and miss him more than ever!! We also wish family were around, but we will still make it special for him!
