Christmas Eve & Day!

Christmas Eve is usually my favorite celebrating at my Aunt's house. It's tough being away from the family, specially during these times. We did have an awesome Christmas Eve & Day though! On Christmas Eve we went over to the Pereda's for gift exchanges and dinner. We had a great dinner and the kids absolutely loved exchanging gifts with their friends. Us adults also did a secret santa gift exchange. It was a good time!

After an early dinner and gifts over there we headed home to open up a present each. All of our new jammies. Then got nice and comfy. We baked Santa cookies and watched a Christmas movie. We wrote Santa Claus a letter than got ready for bed. I accidentally forgot the carrots for Reindeer so MaKenzie thought we should put out turkey for them! MaKenzie and Titan were both VERY anxious for Santa to come that night.

After the kids were snuggled in their beds mommy and daddy heard Santa come through! He left the kids a note back, ate all his cookies and milk and the Reindeer enjoyed their turkey too! MaKenzie and Titan must have been good kids this year. They both definitely made out!!

MaKenzie ended up in our bed at some point that night! I had anxiously waited for the kids to wake up. I woke up every half an hour from four am on. Finally about 7:00am I heard MaKenzie get out of bed. She ran back into my room saying "MOM! Santa came... and there are SO many presents you can't even see the floor or the bottom of the tree! We have to wake up daddy and Titan" So she woke up dad telling him the same thing. Then she told Titan Santa came and he jumped out of bed. The ran into the living room and all Titan could say was "WHOA!"

It was a fun morning of opening presents. Then opening every toy and putting things together. We played non stop that day. It was a lot of fun though. It was great to see how happy the kids were. As MaKenzie opened each present her whole face lit up and she would yell "It's what I always wanted!!" So cute. & Titan would open every present with an excited face saying "That's what I told you I wanted!" It was adorable. I think it is safe to say they both got everything they had asked for. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed their times with their loved ones as much as we did!

My princess turns 5!

So hard to believe that MaKenzie is already five years old. Where the heck has the time gone? You always here people say cherish the moments their little because before you know it they will be eighteen and graduating. I feel like if I blink that will be the case. It is so precious to watch both her and Titan grow each and every day. I am proud of MaKenzie for starting Kindergarten early and doing an amazing job at it. She is such a smart little girl. She is so beautiful and a great big sister to Titan!

This year we celebrated MaKenzie's birthday with one of her close friends, Isabelle, since she turned five the day after MaKenzie. They had a Hello Kitty birthday party and it was perfect. Melissa made an awesome cake and cupcakes for it! The girls wore adorable Hello Kitty shirts, had a Hello Kitty Pinata and had a blast with their friends.

It was a fun birthday party! MaKenzie made out with presents and got everything she asked for! One of Titan's favorite toys she got was her new FurReals track. They have a lot of fun playing with it together :)

Ready for the holidays!

I could hardley wait to set up the Christmas decorations this year. I absolutely love Christmas and was very excited to decorate. Finally after Thanksgiving we got right on to the decorating. It was the first year that we have put lights on the outside of the house so I loved that! Arek did a good job and I think it looked nice :) The kids had a wonderful time putting up the tree. It took them no time at all and they did a great job!
Each year we acquire more and more decorations. It's such a fun holiday to decorate for. One of the new decorations the kids picked out this year was Rudolph to sit next to our tree! I also got us all new stockings at the end of last year. Love how perfectly they match our Red, White and blue tree!

Thanksgiving!

Unfortunately, I did not really get any pictures this day. It was the beginning of my nasuea and exhaustion. I did cook my first turkey! We had Thanksgiving with the Pereda's. Melissa cooked the Ham and a lot of the side dishes. It was a very nice meal. We were thankful to have friends to share the day with since we are so far away from family! We finished the night by playing a few games.

This Thanksgiving Arek and I have a lot to be thankful for. Not only on Thanksgiving, but every day of course. We couldn't be more thankful for the happiness and health of MaKenzie, Titan, Arek and myself.. and to have two beautiful children who we adore more than anything in the world. It is pretty safe to say they are our whole world. We are thankful for all of our wonderful family and friends that each play a special role in our lives. We are thankful for our beautiful blessing growing in my belly. We are thankful for each other and the wonderful life that we live! ♥

Family of 5 to be!

On November 19th, Arek and I found out we were expecting our baby number three! I knew before I took the test that I was, but we took a test to make it official. Then went and got MaKenzie from school so we could tell her and Titan first. MaKenzie could not have been more excited. She has been saying she wants another brother or sister. Specifically she would like a baby sister. She kisses my belly all the time and makes sure that no one lays on it or hurts my tummy. It is very precious. Titan told me "No, no baby in your belly". That was his first reaction. Later that day after talking to Kenzie he started to like the idea more and kissed my belly too. My approx. due date is July 28th, 2011. So far it has been a very had pregnancy as far as morning sickness (all day sickness) and exhaustion goes. I have never had it this bad. It really kicks my butt. I get a day or so when I think it's been going away and then it hits me hard again. I'm hoping that what they say is true and this should all magically disappear at 12 weeks because I am not the type of person who likes to lay around all the time. Much rather be up doing things and not feeling nauseous! Arek and I are very excited to be pregnant. It's definitely a true blessing and a miracle in itself how babies are created. We should find out sometime in February if we are having a boy or girl :) Keep your fingers crossed for a girl ;) Of course we will be just as happy with a boy as long as the baby is healthy. I just love dressing girls up!!


Going to miss the flat belly I worked hard for, but of course I could always get it back again :) Love watching my belly grow and anxious for the NOTICEABLE baby bump!!

Halloween fun!

We had a great Halloween this year. It was the first year the four cousins got to go trick or treating together. Each kid was fun to watch. MaKenzie and Brock were hard to keep up with. Titan tried to keep up the best possible. Lyv was more comfortable being carried :) By the end of the night they all four had a ton of candy. Poor MaKenzie could hardley keep her eyes open and passed out the first two sentences of her bedtime story. While we were out trick or treating Nay Nay and Papa stayed at the house to pass out candy to all the trick or treaters! It was a good night and we enjoyed having family here with us.

Family in town!

One thing we love about living close to our hometown is being able to visit family and friends easy and having family come visit us! We had James, Lexi, Brock, Lyv, Harley, Tarron and Chad come down and spend Halloween weekend with us. The kids were definitely anxious and looking forward to them coming to visit. We enjoyed having them here and the weekend actually didn't fly by... felt like we got to spend a lot of time together. Brock and Harley was able to go to Kenzie's school "Fall Festival" with me. Brock loved sitting next to Kenzie and playing the games with her. Harley of course loved to see Kenzie's classroom and enjoyed it. We spent one of the days in Tombstone walking around. The kids had a good time looking at shops, horses, the people walking around in costume. Aly and I went on our own adventure while everyone was waiting for lunch. We found a neat reptile shop, looked around random stores and she waved and said Hi to everyone! I sure enjoyed the one on one time with her! Hate living so far away from my niece and nephew. I love them to pieces! Brock and Kenzie walked around together most of the time. It amazes me how much they both have grown! They still are the best of friends though!

While they were here I took some family pictures for them and a few of everyone else as well. I think they turned out great. Love the one that I got of the four cousins. They are impossible to take pictures of with all four smiling but the backs of them holding hands is definitely one of my favorites! All four of them are so special in their own ways! Titan and Alyvia have not had the time to bond like MaKenzie and Brock did but they are getting there! I of course loved having my sister here and getting some pictures of her too. She is gorgeous and growing up way too freakin' fast.

We had a great time with everyone visiting. We also did pumpkin carving, had a Halloween party, and spent Halloween together. That will be in the next blog :)
